Watch the three videos on "Beginner Tig Welding" Make sure you are familiar with putting your Tig torch together. On Wednesday you will demonstrate putting the parts of a Tig torch together. These 3 videos should last until 10:30 a.m.
After Break: (10:40-11:15 a.m.)
Write a 500 word essay explaining what you learned in the three "Beginner Tig Welding" videos.
Use Microsoft so that it will count your words as you type. When you are finished, record the number of words that are in the context of your essay at the top of your paper.

Get your vertical or overhead weld pad off the table in the shop. Use the attached Rubric to grade your welds. After grading your welds, write a (minimum 100) word essay describing any weld deficiencies, then write what you will do different to eliminate those weld defects.
